Traidcraft is the UK's leading fair trade organisation helping poor communities work their way out of poverty. Hebden Bridge is accredited as a fair trade town.

Twice a year St Thomas' Church in Heptonstall holds a weekend selling fairly traded goods. The weekends are held at Spring Bank Holiday and then in November for Christmas shopping. Go to our Diary for dates and times - light refreshments are also available throughout the weekends.

The products on sale are supplied by Traidcraft and other small communities in the 'third world' who have been paid a fair price for what they make.

On sale are fair trade clothing, crafts, books and food with a good range of organic teas and coffees, snacks and chocolate, plus a large variety of Christmas cards and gifts at the November sale.

With your support the sale of these products will make a direct and practical difference to small scale craft workers and farmers around the world.
